recoveriescorp, has been acquired by Allegro Funds. The organisation is about to enter a growth phase that will see the recoveriescorp business target new markets in the BPO/Contact Centre space.
Working as the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the Group’s financial reporting function, ensuring the Group delivers on its obligations related to tax and financial reporting. You will work closely with the wider finance team and key external stakeholders to support the space to deliver on its strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will;
- Leadership: Lead the Financial Control team ensuring the integrity of financial information, maintaining strong financial controls, compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation and leading a program of continuous improvement
- Financial Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate financial statements and tax filling preparations and lodgements
- Audit, & Tax Compliance: Manage the Group’s audit and tax activities across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the UK ensuring compliance with relevant statutory authority
- Financial Controls: Maintain strong financial controls and governance with a focus on continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the wider finance team, executive team and external auditors and tax advisors to deliver compliant and timely business outcomes
What will you bring:
You are a senior financial professional with experience in similar financial reporting or controller role. You have experience gained in professional services, exposure to tax compliance and have worked in finance teams with offshore components.
- CA/CPA Qualified with experience in professional services
- Demonstratable knowledge of accounting principles and controls
- Exposure to Oracle NetSuite highly advantageous
