The role

Working as a Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for recommending and implementing data driven strategies to enhance revenue. You will work closely with operational leaders to develop and recommend strategic initiatives that utilise the appropriate contact channel to increase recovery rates across time.

In this role, you will

  • Analyse and interpret large amounts of data in order to find patterns, trends and correlations.
  • Evaluate performance of existing strategies, suggest strategy changes and enable improved workflow decisions through insights.
  • Manage campaign quality and ensure project tasks are completed within set timeframes – monitor the percentages of dropped calls, connected calls, and connected calls to the right parties
  • Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter workflows, redefine job functions, and support organisational innovation and improvements.
  • Perform post–implementation reviews of all major systems changes, document and ensure that all reference to documents in the QA and corporate manuals are updated on a timely basis
  • Periodically Report – Outbound & Inbound services for all clients to manage trends in campaign quality and analyse performance. Responsible for client specific reporting, portfolio hygiene and analysis
  • Recommend, implement and monitor strategic enhancements to collection, campaign, resourcing and treatment strategies to ensure key performance indicators throughout the business are achieved at a segment level.
  • Systematically document and analyse workflow reports, graphs and various models, generate insights from various sources, and formulate recommendations for leaders.
  • Develop innovative processes to streamline the business operations, treatments, documents and customer channels
  • Identify business and organisational gaps and opportunities through the application of continuous improvement and change methodologies

What you’ll bring

  • Post-secondary qualification in relevant field
  • Extensive knowledge of all recoveries functions and systems
  • Deep knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau or QLIK
  • Knowledge of the Banking/Finance industry will be highly regarded
  • Experience programming in SQL, SAS & Python
  • Experience in operating the Microsoft office suite and in-house reporting software
